Angels of Desolation is a euphoric, erotic, and cinematic spoken word electronica project born from the heavy souls of composer/writer/producer Rob G. Nichols and novelist/poet/lyricist Nyle Kai.  This emerging music collaboration between a shining, visionary composer and a seductive, tattooed poet draws inspiration from everything under the pregnant moon, including the philosophy of Nietzsche, the poetry of Jim Morrison, the films of David Lynch and Quentin Tarantino, and the magnificence of the ever-expanding and collapsing universe.

Rob G. Nichols has been creating sounds for thirty years, and his influences include Kraftwerk, David Bowie, and Depeche Mode. His philosophy is that it takes only one magical moment to create a memory that lasts a lifetime, and he seeks to gift us those moments with his raw talent and incredible technical prowess.  Nichols creates gripping mental movies with his compositions, and his sophisticated pieces threaten to take the music world by storm.  His recent collaborations include works with well-known electronica producers Ostel and Leroy Santiago.

Nyle Kai was born in Montreal, Canada, and she first learned to read and write in French.  Inspired by her literary hero, Jack Kerouac, she published a book series written entirely in a single draft; this epic, stream-of-consciousness meditation on addiction, altered states, post-traumatic growth, and the mystery of a godless yet potently ordered world is available on Amazon as ‘5 of Swords’ and ‘Bathe Me in Firelight.’  Kai has always followed her instincts, from the halls of McGill University to the violent streets of Boston and the quiet serenity of Vermont.  She once spent six weeks in a graduate-level math program, only to drop out to pursue painting and poetry.  She now lives in Vermont.
